Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja organisasi terhadap retensi karyawan di Asia Plaza Kota Tasikmalaya, dengan latar belakang tingginya tingkat turnover yang mencerminkan adanya permasalahan dalam praktik kepemimpinan dan menurunnya motivasi kerja di sektor ritel.


Metode Penelian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja organisasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap retensi karyawan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Meskipun demikian, arah pengaruh yang positif menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kualitas kepemimpinan dan motivasi tetap berpotensi memperkuat retensi. Gaya kepemimpinan terlihat memiliki kontribusi yang lebih dominan dibandingkan motivasi kerja organisasi, meskipun pengaruhnya masih lemah.

Implikasi: Temuan penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan strategi manajemen sumber daya manusia di sektor ritel. Hasilnya dapat menjadi dasar bagi penelitian selanjutnya untuk memasukkan variabel lain seperti kepuasan kerja, budaya organisasi, atau faktor kompensasi dalam upaya memahami retensi karyawan secara lebih komprehensif.
